First Reviews of Salaar: Fans Say It Has "Flaws" and Receive Mixed Reactions to Prabhas-Starrer Action Film

Prabhas and director Prashanth Neel have collaborated for the first time in a film.

New Delhi: "Salaar: Part 1-Ceasefire," directed by KGF 2 director Prashanth Neel, is currently showing in theatres. The film's primary leads are Prabhas, Shruti Haasan, and Prithviraj Sukumaran. Moviegoers flocked to theatres early in the morning to catch first-day screenings and post their opinions about the film on social media. 

"#Salaar is a MASS BONANZA which has #PrashanthNeel Signature Stamped all over it," tweeted trade expert Sumit Kadel. The real action begins in the second half as the screenplay's twists come to light, but the movie starts out slowly and ends on a high note with a good interval block. The final hour of HR is AMAZING, with some incredible Elevation Scenes that will electrify audiences in theatres [the scene where Prabhas saves a girl is particularly heart-stopping]. The main event of the movie that set the stage for Salaar Part 2 is the climax.
